The ones I rode in the ’70s all went past 90 degrees. If the ride operator was in a really festive mood he’s run the seats up/down so fast that you could actually feel the seats hitting the limiter. It was awesome!!! I wish more of these were still around.

Coney Island had one running in ‘08. Not sure if it was still there this summer.
