  1. My dad Robert Thomas in partnership with Alf Green first erected the Mad Mouse at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
They ran it for many years before selling to Tom Wittingslow.
They were great days, people lined up for hours to get on the ride. During the remainder of the year, the ride was pulled down and erected at my dads other amusement park on the lower asplanade in St Kilda.

  3. Seem to remember that my grandfather, Walter Thomas was also part of the Green and Thomas consortium that introduced the Mad Mouse to Australia. He went to America specifically to negotiate the deal.
