The UFO was first manufactured in the mid 1970’s by HUSS, based on the design already proven from the Enterprise, with a stand-up gondola configuration to give an entirely different ride experience, similar to that experienced on a Roundup, with more of an incline and with a greater diameter.
The UFO was never quite as popular as its widespread cousin and is therefore much less common in parks and carnivals throughout the world, with approximately 23 units in existence.
There is 1 UFO in Australia, a 1988 ex-road model now situated at Sydney’s Luna Park.
